Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using EverDogParent (the "Service") — including our website at everdogparent.com and our mobile application — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

EverDogParent provides free and premium tools for dog owners, including calculators, a dog name finder, an emergency toxicity reference, a vaccination schedule, and a care tracker. Some features require a free account. Premium features require a paid subscription.

3. User accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free trial and promotional period

New users receive a free trial period with full premium access. The trial length depends on when you sign up:

• Users who signed up before July 10, 2026 receive free access through July 10, 2026.
• Users who sign up on or after July 10, 2026 receive 7 days of free premium access.

After the free trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan automatically unless you subscribe. No payment information is required during the trial.

6. Family plan and household sharing

The Family plan allows you ("Admin") to invite up to 3 additional people ("Members") to your household. By inviting someone, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Invited Members will have access to all dog profiles, care logs, diary entries, vaccination records, calendar events, and health data in your household.
• Members can view and edit dog profiles and add care records for dogs in the household.
• Members cannot add new dog profiles — only the Admin can.
• All dogs in the household belong to the Admin regardless of who added care records.
• You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from Members before inviting them and for the data you share about your dogs.

When the Family plan ends (by cancellation, expiry, or downgrade), all Members immediately lose access to the household. Members' own personal accounts remain active. The Admin is notified by email before this occurs.

The Admin may remove Members or transfer Admin rights to another Member at any time. You cannot be Admin of more than one household simultaneously.

8. Account deletion and data retention

You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. When you request deletion:

• Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days.
• During this 30-day window, you may restore your account by signing back in.
• Family Members lose household access immediately upon account deletion.
• After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted: dog profiles, care logs, diary entries, vaccinations, calendar events, and account information.
• Subscription payments are not refunded upon account deletion.

EU users may request immediate deletion under GDPR's "right to be forgotten." See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Affiliate links

EverDogParent participates in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates and the Chewy Affiliate Program. We may earn a commission when you purchase products through links on our site or app, at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products we believe are relevant and useful for dog owners.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without permission
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Impersonate another person or entity

11. Intellectual property

All content on EverDogParent — including text, design, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission. Dog names data is curated by EverDogParent and may not be scraped or reused commercially.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EverDogParent is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to harm to your pet resulting from acting on information provided by our tools. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@everdogparent.com and allow 30 days to attempt good-faith resolution.

EU/EEA users: Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws, including the right to bring disputes before the competent courts of your country of residence or before the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

US users: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
