1. Who we are

EverDogParent ("we", "us", "our") is an app and website for dog owners that provides free tools including calculators, a name finder, an emergency toxicity guide, and a care tracker. We are operated by IE Retina Tatiana, registered in the Republic of Armenia (Tax ID: 20291581). Contact: hello@everdogparent.com

2. Information we collect

Information you provide:

• Email address and password when you create an account
• Dog profile information (name, breed, birthday, weight) that you enter voluntarily
• Dog owner contact details you enter voluntarily: owner name, phone number, home city, and emergency contact information
• Photos you upload for your dog's profile picture
• Care events, diary entries, and notes you log in the app
• Vaccination records and weight logs you enter
• Calendar events and reminders you create
• Messages and contact information you submit via our contact form (support tickets)
• Your marketing email preference (opt-in, recorded with timestamp)

Information collected automatically:

• Device type, operating system, and browser
• Pages visited and features used (analytics)
• Approximate location (country/region, not precise GPS)
• Crash reports and performance data
• Push notification tokens (if you grant notification permission on the mobile app)

3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• To sync your dog profiles and care data across your devices
• To send transactional emails (email confirmation, password reset, billing receipts, account notices)
• To improve our tools and understand which features are most useful
• To send marketing emails if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To process subscription payments (if you subscribe to a premium plan)
• To prevent fraud and enforce these terms

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Family and household data sharing

• Family Members can view and add records for all dogs in the household.
• Care log entries identify who created them (by account email) for audit purposes.
• When a Member leaves or is removed, they no longer have access to household data.
• When the Admin's Family plan ends, all Members immediately lose access.
• Members' own personal account data (their dogs, their diary entries) is never shared with the household Admin.

7. Data retention

• We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
• When you delete your account, it is scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days, during which you can restore it.
• After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted: profiles, dogs, care logs, diary entries, vaccinations, calendar events, and support ticket messages.
• An anonymized deletion record (timestamp and reason only — no personal data) is kept for GDPR compliance audit purposes.
• Payment receipts may be retained for tax and legal purposes for up to 7 years, as required by applicable law.

8. Children's privacy

EverDogParent is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your rights (GDPR — EU/EEA users)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@everdogparent.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Your rights (CCPA — California residents)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

11. Marketing emails and consent

We only send marketing emails (product updates, tips, new features) to users who have explicitly opted in at registration or through Account Settings. This consent is recorded with a timestamp.

• The opt-in checkbox is unchecked by default at registration.
• You can change your preference at any time in Account Settings → Notifications.
• All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link and our contact address.
• Unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days.

We will always send you transactional emails regardless of marketing preferences: account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts, plan change notices, and account deletion confirmations.

You can also disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will affect login functionality. Google Analytics can be blocked independently via browser extensions (e.g. uBlock Origin) or the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of EverDogParent after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
